Your Special Offer & Teacher Intros
Hello!
It’s been just over three weeks since we opened the doors to The Loom Yoga Studio, though in many ways, it feels like it’s been much longer. Time has a funny way of stretching when everything is new.
You know that feeling — when you’re doing something for the first time, and every moment feels fuller, more expansive? That’s because our attention is heightened. Like taking a class with a new teacher or exploring a different path, time seems to slow down because we’re truly noticing all the little things.
Sometimes that can feel a bit overwhelming. Our senses are absorbing so much more than usual, and it can be a lot to take in. But I believe that’s part of the beauty of change. It wakes us up.
Just as we strengthen and stretch our muscles in practice, we can also train our awareness — tuning into life more deeply, moment by moment. If we want to experience life more richly, maybe the key is simply to notice more.

So how do we do that?
We practice.
Come to class.
Let’s explore this together.

Our Teachers
The Loom Yoga started with five teachers. Their regularly scheduled classes will continue at the same times in June and beyond, and we’re excited to welcome four new teachers to our community. Teacher bios will appear on The Loom Yoga website in a few weeks, but here’s a quick guide to help you choose the class that best suits you.
Our week begins on Monday with Iva’s Strength and Flexibility class at 5:15pm. This class feels like a Pilates and yoga fusion, as Iva is certified in both. I recommend it if you're looking to relieve tension caused by poor posture—it awakens dormant muscles and brings relief to those that are overstretched or overworked.
Next up is Luna’s Power Yoga (Monday and Tuesday at 6:30pm). This steady-paced class keeps you anchored to your breath throughout. It’s gentle enough for beginners yet offers a challenge for seasoned yogis through isometric holds that build strength.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we offer a special treat for morning yoga lovers: Laura teaches at 8:00am on Tuesday and 8:30am on Thursday. She’s the queen of trauma-informed yoga that feels good in every body. Even if you’re not a morning person, Laura can help you adapt poses that never felt quite right. Her anatomical knowledge is sure to impress even experienced practitioners.

If you’re eager to try more advanced poses that currently feel out of reach, join Allie on Wednesdays at 5:15pm and 6:30pm. Her classes feel like playtime. She has a gift for building community and making yoga fun. Come if you want to try the seemingly impossible, make friends, or shake up your usual routine.

Thursday evenings at 6:30pm bring a unique offering you won’t find in many studios: Sha’s Flow, Breathe, Meditate class. Specializing in breathwork (pranayama) and meditation, Sha will guide you through gentle movement to prepare your body for a deep meditative state. This class is especially recommended for creatives and artists looking to tap into their inner well of inspiration.

Our week wraps up with Friday’s 4:00pm Yin class with Iva. Everyone who attends says the same thing: it’s the perfect way to leave the work week behind and ease into the weekend. If you're new to classic yin yoga, expect to hold poses for 3–5 minutes. It’s nourishing not just for your muscles, but also for your ligaments and deep tension spots. You’ll leave feeling soft, open, and deeply relaxed.
